Air Cargo Price Fixing Probe Widens

     Many air cargo executives off at a trade show in China and elsewhere around the world awoke to news that Air France/KLM Cargo and others are part of a worldwide investigation connected to price fixing, as a European Commission inquiry into cartel activity in the air cargo business led by Neelie Kroes, Europe’s Competition Commissioner ramped up Wednesday.

International Latin American Air Transport Association Conference Attracts 400


  AITAL, the International Latin American Air Transport Association, held its second annual Conference last December at the Turnberry Resort in Aventura, Florida, attracting some 400 delegates from 29 countries.
  The Conference focused on recent developments in aviation and their effect on Latin and South American carriers, suppliers and manufacturers.
