     The surprise “Certificate of Honor” presentation recognized Geoffrey’s “Invaluable contribution to FIATA and the logistics community” and  was especially significant coming a decade after Arend was named FIATA Fellow in 2016.
     The moment drew an unforgettable and heart-warming standing ovation from World Congress delegates.

     Aldo Da Ros served as FIATA President 2001-2003, is a logistics entrepreneur and former Managing Director of Gottardo Ruffoni with over 50 years of experience in the freight forwarding.
     Pictured here is “King of the Road” Alessandro Barbiero, CEO of Barbiero S.P.A. Active in FIATA leadership & Fedespedi (advancing Italian national freight forwarding) Barbiero brings road freight innovation and advancing logistics into the conversation in his yeoman efforts.
