Buffalo Airways Everybody's Santa

     Heartwarming event way up North in Canada, where usually at this time of year the outside temp is -10°F. Buffalo Airways Cargo celebrated a “Child’s Christmas in Yellowknife,” with a deluxe Hangar Party for local kids including, from left Buffalo General Manager Mikey McBryan, St. Nicholas (Santa himself) and Buffalo Chief Mechanic Chuck Adams, resident curmudgeon (Scrooge himself).
     Lovely mixture of old airplanes and new ones too as Buffalo integated its B737F and is offering uplifting all-cargo north of the border and beyond.
Santa here doubles as a C-46 pilot and just like in the music business, (where the clarinet player often doubles on saxophone), Santa after making Merry flies off in his Curtiss Commando delivering Christmas to settlements all over northern Canada. But, first lots of folks under four feet tall in Yellowknife were lifted on top of the world.
     Mikey, by the way, is keyote speaker at Brandon Fried’s, Airforwarders Association AirCargo conference in Dallas March 2-4, 2025.
     In the never-a-dull moment world of air cargo forwarding and Buffalo Airways Cargo, this is opening round at an air cargo conference in early 2025 that is not to be missed.
