Where In The World Is Peter Penseel? |
As we go to press we have learned that Peter is busy, "very happy at Delta Cargo" and in Europe last week, back in Atlanta soon. Mark Twain said that 'the two most important days in your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out why'. For us, discovering that things are all right is always the wherefore. Following a Netherlands phenom trend: first, Jan Krems set the air cargo world on fire as President of United Cargo, then a couple months ago Peter Penseel, another top air cargo executive from Holland was tapped by Delta Air Lines Cargo as President to turn around their air cargo program. Peter Penseel joined Delta in June 2024, responsible for leading the Cargo Commercial division with a focus on driving revenue and profitable growth, delivering industry-leading customer service and ensuring operational excellence within Delta’s Cargo business. Peter has more than three decades of experience in various roles across the air cargo, freight forwarding and logistics sectors. He served as the Chief Operating Officer – Airfreight at CEVA Logistics, and also held several other senior leadership positions at Qatar Airways Cargo, DHL Global Forwarding and UTi Worldwide (DSV A/S). Peter serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Maastricht Aachen Airport in the Netherlands. Best of all, Peter carries a reputation as both smart and regular, so we wish him well. |
