FIATA World Congress Takes Off In Cape Town |
Getting ready for that big FIATA World Congress taking place all this week in Cape Town, South Africa is top FIATA officer Turgut Erkeskin, (pictured here with FIATA Fellow Geoffrey Arend). Turgut, who is also a driving force at The Association of International Forwarding & Logistics Service Providers (UTIKAD) in Turkey serves as President and CEO of Istanbul-based Genel Transport. “The Annual FIATA World Congress is a great place to be because here the global forwarding community gathers together, to network and chart our future. “Turkey is Europe’s seventh largest economy with a grand new amazing airport, so this week we go face-to-face at FIATA with meetings that can drive the expanded role of the freight forwarder on the international business front. “Am looking forward, (no pun intended), to a great week and learning more about Africa, whilst telling the Turkish transportation story at FIATA World Congress, Cape Town,” Turgut said. |
