EMO Trans Readies Global Meeting |
EMO
Trans, which is set
for its annual global
meeting in Cologne,
Germany on September
6 said that it is continuing
its expansion program
with a new office in
Taipei, Taiwan. In early October the fast-rising logistics specialist is moving to new headquarters offices in Garden City, New York consolidating offices in nearby Freeport and Baldwin under the same roof in an expanded facility. When the EMO Trans Global Meeting kicks off in Cologne, Germany, on September 9, the big event will take place in the hometown of EMO Chairman Jo Frigger. “EMO Trans 2018 results are satisfactory,” Mr. Frigger said, “with increases over 2017. “We are, however, naturally concerned about the ongoing trade disputes and can only hope that, in the interest of the global economy, fair compromises can be achieved. “EMO Trans will do our best to help our customers find their way through the complicated tariff structure,” Jo said. “ I am very much looking forward to our Global Meeting early next month. “With so many new offices and partners, this will most likely be the largest global conference we have organized to-date.” Geoffrey |
