Flossie's Moon

     A United Airlines aircraft heads home from China across the "Supermoon" in the night sky February19.
     The Supermoon is a full moon that nearly coincides with the moon's closest approach to Earth in its orbit, resulting in a slightly larger size and a brighter view.
     This is the second of three Supermoons in 2019. The first was on Jan. 21, the second is today, February 19 and the last one is on March 21.
     But for us today, on our Managing Editor Flossie Arend’s birthday, we are celebrating and looking up at the brightest of all three!
     Happy Birthday Flossie!
