Beam Me Up, Scotty
William Shatner  Beam Me Up, Scotty . . . William Shatner hopes to arrange a show to celebrate 50 years of Star Trek in 2016—and it might even be a musical.
The 84-year-old Shatner, who played Captain Kirk when the television series launched in 1966, believes an anniversary show for Star Trek's half century is in order.
He told AP:
“I'm attempting to sell a 50th anniversary show, but so far I've had very little luck. Maybe because Paramount's going to do their own, but I don't know how they can do their own without me.
  “I've never been contacted.”
Websoft Headquarters
Ready For Takeoff . . . An aerial view of the headquarters for NetDragon Websoft Inc. in Changle City, Fuzhou City, Southeast China's Fujian Province, 22, reveals the business has boldly gone where no business has gone before.
A multi-millionaire built the office headquarters to look like the Starship Enterprise from the beloved TV and film series, Star Trek.
Liu Dejian, Chairman of China's most popular mobile Internet provider, obtained the license from CBS to allow him to build the replica.
Liu, 43, obviously a huge fan of Star Trek and a self-described ‘Uber Trekkie,’ spent approximately $150 million on the office building.
