For Swiss WorldCargo, Michael Ganz, (right) Head of Cargo Northeast U.S. and Canada and Hendrik Falk, (left) Head of Cargo West Coast USA & South America spoke to the U.S. government shutdown and its impact on air cargo shippers:
  “So far,” the duo said, “the effect of the U.S. government shutdown has only indirectly impacted Swiss WorldCargo.
  “However freight forwarders have made it clear to us that initial impact for exports and imports have been noticed.
  “In the meantime, we will continue to closely monitor the situation at our gateways in New York, Newark, Chicago, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
  “Of course, we will also continue to support our customers in case they experience any issues or delays.”
